Welcome to CMC Tai Chi Academy Australia, an affiliation to “The Cheng-Tzu Tai Chi Chuan Study Association of Taiwan - Melbourne”. The academy has the privilege to teach the Traditional Tai Chi curriculum of Cheng Man Ching (); CMC Tai Chi, to its students.
Our mission is to improve health and well being, and apply the tai chi philosophy - “Tai Chi Wisdom” into our everyday life. Our goals are to promote the study of the tai chi principles, practise them in the tai chi foundation and apply them in the form.
The CMC Tai Chi Chuan is a series of 37 Mind-Body movements based on 3 Zhan Zhuang (Tai Chi standing Chi Kung) and 1 Natural Breathing technique.
This gentle mind-body moving meditation exercise works together in balance to unify and relax the body and mind, to loosen body joints, to enhance body balance, to circulate blood chi and accumulate inner energy. It also improves muscle strength, flexibility and balance.
